Affiliate Disclosure
Tiller is operated by Zim Apps LLC (“Tiller”, “we”, “us”). Tiller’s recommendations are independent. We are not paid by manufacturers to recommend their products, and our guidance is based on what fits your lawn — not on what earns us money.
How affiliate links work here
Some product links in Tiller are affiliate links (Amazon Associates). If you buy through one, Tiller earns a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps fund the app.
Where they appear: in the “Gear this schedule assumes” section of our state-by-state lawn guides. That section lists only equipment the schedule above already requires — a spreader, a sprayer, a soil thermometer. It is never a sponsored placement, and no manufacturer pays to appear there.
Where they never appear: anywhere inside the app’s coaching. Tiller’s recommendations about what to do, when to do it, and what to skip carry no affiliate relationship of any kind. Sponsored or affiliate-influenced recommendations are on our permanent never-build list.
Our promise
- We recommend products because they fit your lawn, not because they pay us.
- A commission never changes what we recommend or the order we recommend it.
- Affiliate links are labeled where they appear so you always know.
- The product label is still the law — follow it regardless of where you buy.
