Tiller Privacy Policy

Effective 20 June 2026 · Last updated 8 July 2026

Tiller is a lawn-care coaching app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over your data. We don’t sell lawn products and we don’t sell your data. Trust is the point of Tiller.

Who we are

Tiller is operated by Zim Apps LLC (“Tiller”, “we”, “us”). Questions or requests: support@tillerlawn.com.

What we collect and why

Where your data lives

Data is stored in Supabase (Postgres database, authentication, and file storage), our infrastructure provider. Access is restricted to your account through row-level security so other users cannot read your data. Some non-personal app data may also be cached on your device.

How we use it

App functionality, generating recommendations, product personalization, and product analytics — that’s it. We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Sharing

We share data only with infrastructure providers that operate Tiller on our behalf (e.g. Supabase for storage/auth, our weather data provider, our hosting provider) and only as needed to run the service. We don’t sell personal data or share it with data brokers.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data — see below. We may retain de-identified, aggregated usage statistics (stored under a hashed identifier, not linked to your name or email) to understand product trends; these cannot be used to contact or identify you.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. This permanently removes your profile, lawn areas, activity logs, products, settings, notification tokens, and uploaded photos. The deletion is not reversible. You can also email privacy@tillerlawn.com to request deletion.

Children’s privacy

Tiller is intended for adults (homeowners) and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. California/CCPA, EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to opt out of sale (we don’t sell data). You can exercise access/delete directly in the app, or email privacy@tillerlawn.com. We treat these rights as the minimum standard for all users, everywhere.

Changes

We’ll update this page and the “last updated” date when our practices change.

This is a plain-English summary of how Tiller handles your data, not legal advice. Questions: support@tillerlawn.com.
